Role: IT Support Engineer (Full Time)

We are now looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer based in our Wexford Office to support our customer base in the South East.
The IT Department works with companies that need the support of an IT department without having the overheads of a dedicated in-house IT professional. From hardware and software procurement to project management and consulting, our team of professionals is comprised of service engineers who have experience on working in a range of industries. Our dedicated retail arm supplies hardware support and eCommerce solutions to retailers across Ireland.
We are an young IT company est 2005, staff of 8 and looking for the right person to join our growing team
Job Responsibilities:
- Onsite installations and support calls
- Installation of pcs/laptops and servers
- Installation of infrastructure firewall/switches/WIFI
- Manage and perform cloud migrations
- Escalation point for support desk and managed services for onsite calls
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Work on own initiative
- Ability to work in a team and contribute
Technical Skillset:
- Office365 administration
- Windows desktop OS
- Windows servers
- Active Directory
- SonicWALL firewalls
- Unifi
- ESET
- VMware/Hyper V

IT Support Engineer would be on call 1 week in 7. Hours are 9 to 5.30 Monday – Friday, although may be required to work outside these times. Some travel required but the majority of our customer base is the South East.
